Joan D. Trudell, 82, of Pine River, formerly of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012, at her son and daughter-in-law’s home, under the care of Thedacare Hospice.
She was born Feb. 28, 1929, in Port Edwards to the late Lawrence and Minnie (Feih) Gash. On Oct. 27, 1951, she married Clarence Trudell; he preceded her in death in September 1991.
Joan will be sadly missed by her children: Bob (Beverly) Trudell of Florida and their daughter, Carly (Sean) and their children, Darion and Olivia; Doug Trudell of Florida and his children, Jeremy and Eve; Mark Trudell of Rice Lake and his children, Derek and Kyle and their children, Sofia, Karson, Kaden and Keagen; Scott (Terry Gorman) Trudell of Madison; Todd (Peggy Rosenthal) Trudell of Pine River; grand dogs, Yukon, Izzy and Bella and grand cats, Molly and Bubba; sisters, Kathy (Claude) Clark of Sheboygan; Alice Hilgers of Wisconsin Rapids; other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Bob and Bill; and sisters, Betty, Jean and Lois.
The memorial service will be at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Maple Crest Funeral Home of Waupaca. Friends and family may gather from 2 p.m. until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
